  1. advice是與advise同根的名詞,指有業務專長或經驗(可真可假)的人對某一行動提出的帶指點或指教性的意見或勸告,如教師對學生的指教或醫生對病人的勸告等,也指商業上關于交易等資料的通知(單)。
  2. advice作“勸告”解時是抽象名詞,不可數,表示數的概念時須借助表示單位的名詞piece。advice作“消息,報導”解和在商業用語中作“通知單”解時是可數名詞,且常用復數。
  3. advice不可用a number of, many, several等限定可數名詞的詞語修飾,但可用some, any, a lot of, little, a little等修飾。
  4. 作為表示建議的名詞, advice可接that引起的表語從句或同位語從句,這時從句中的謂語動詞須用虛擬式,即用動詞原形或should+動詞原形。
